The 2017 Greater Youngstown Italian Fest is scheduled for the following dates and times:

Friday, August 4, 11am to 11pm
Saturday, August 5, 1pm to 11pm
Sunday, August 6, 11am to 11pm

The Greater Youngstown Italian Fest is an annual event in downtown Youngstown, hosted by the Italian Heritage Foundation of Youngstown, Inc. The primary goal of the registered non-profit heritage foundation is to improve the quality of life in the greater Youngstown area through charitable donations while honoring the memory and living heritage of the Italian community in the Mahoning Valley.

Every year, thanks to generous corporate sponsorship from Mahoning Valley businesses, the efforts of hundreds of volunteers, and the support of the city of Youngstown, the fest is able to attract more than 50,000 visitors annually to the three day event.

In accordance with its charitable nature, the foundation uses fest proceeds to offer scholarships to local students, benefit local charities such as the Second Harvest Food Bank, Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, and so many more through the years, and ensure event growth in subsequent years.

The fest is a family-oriented event that offers a taste of the Italian heritage through performances by international recording artists, delicious food offered by the area’s finest vendors and restaurants, Italian games and more.
